As a reminder, when selecting Godparents, only one is required, but all Godparents must be confirmed, practicing Catholics. A Christian witness can also be part of the baptism if there is only one Godparent.

Godparents
Please let us know who the Godparents will be. The Church only requires one Godparent per person being baptized, but we recommend two. If multiple individuals are being baptized at the same time, they may share Godparents. Godparent's must be practicing, confirmed Catholics. You may also have one Catholic Godparent and a Christian witness, who is a baptized Christian of another faith denomination.
